Description

These one-of-a-kind original glass corncobs by Michael Meilahn are the same as those included in the Environmental Impact Exhibition now showing at the Sternberg Museum. Meilahn farms and makes art on his farm in Wisconsin. As a freshman at UW_River Falles, he happened upon the glass blowing facility and was seduced by the medium. He had the opportunity through the Quarter Abroad Program to study with Abstract Expressionist, Erwin Eisch, in Germany. His work has evolved into conceptual, mixed media and installation focusing on the iconic image of corn.

No two of these corncobs are exactly alike. Choose from four different designs. Includes artist biography card. Due to its fragile nature, product will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.
